“TAKE THE CHALLENGE!” – PCC gearing up for the 15th Annual Baja Challenge

Pacific Coast Commercial is proud to announce its participation in the Baja Challenge 2014–Project Mercy

…we encourage everyone to join us - TAKE THE CHALLENGE!

As in the past the San Diego County Commercial Association of Realtors and the San Diego Chapter of NAIOP, along with Project Mercy, a non-profit organization, are coordinating the construction of small houses in the poorer area of (Tijuana) Colonia Sonora, just south of Otay Mesa.

The goal this year is to construct at least 20 new homes.  On Saturday, September 27, 2014, several teams of ten to fifteen volunteers each will travel to Mexico to build these one-room houses and outhouses.  Each team needs to raise $4,600 for the required building materials, and we would like to see if you would be interested in making a donation toward this cause.

Pacific Coast Commercial is sending a group of volunteers to construct one of these homes. The last 7 years have provided great experiences and BIG SUCCESS, but we could not have done it without a lot of help.

We have been ramping up our efforts to acquire the funds needed for this project, and we are calling upon anyone who would like to take the challenge with us and make a contribution of any amount.

Our deadline to raise funds is August 1, 2014.
