The Flower Fields in Carlsbad
May 13 | 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Mother’s Day is the last day of the season that the Flower Fields in Carlsbad are open to the public. These gorgeous Carlsbad fields bloom brightly with ranunculus flowers. The stage will be filled with colorful dancing from the Rancho Buena Vista High School’s Ballet Folklorico. In addition, you can make your own mixed bouquets for only $5.
On Mother’s Day, May 13, the Spa at Paradise Point in Mission Bay is offering two specials:
- Mom’s Escape to Paradise-Custom Facial. A custom blended facial for a mom’s specific skincare needs. Includes a thorough skin assessment by a Master Esthetician, followed by an 80-minute treatment, including a hand, neck and scalp massage. Mom will also receive a custom blended moisturizer to take home. A glass of complimentary champagne or sparkling water is also offered post-treatment. Price is $270 (including 20% service fee).
- Add a 65-Minute Hot Stone Pedicure. In addition to the facial above, Mom will receive a Hot Stone Pedicure, including a coconut milk cleansing ritual followed by an exfoliation using sugar cane infused essential oils. A warm body butter wrap is then applied to the feet. Mom’s legs are massages with warm coconut exotic oil and hot stones. The price there is $72 for adults and $28 for kids. The Aragon Ballroom there will have a family-friendly brunch buffet, also with live music, a petting zoo and pony rides from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The price there is $85 for adults and $40 for kids.
OB Surf Lodge Mother’s Day Brunch
On Mother’s Day, the OB Surf Lodge is offering one cent mom-mosas for all moms at brunch. Their brunch menuincludes a Breakfast Biscuit Sandwich, Crab Cake Benedict, Poblano Avocado Toast and Brie Stuffed French Toast. Please note that they do not take reservations.
