It’s no surprise that our CEO, Robert Phillips, has been nominated by the San Diego Business Journal as the Most Admired CEO 2011. Robert has an insightful ability to pull away from the day to day operations and see the big picture of the company and industry. Dedication and persistence drive Robert to achieve the goals of ownership of a San Diego commercial property management company like Pacific Coast Commercial. Robert’s involvement in organizations in our business field has resulted in accreditation as a top commercial property management company by the Institute of Real Estate Management. This involvement has also resulted in signing a client that resulted in 25% or our management and brokerage business.
How has Robert contributed to the innovation of the company?
Robert continually updated systems and responds to changing technology within the commercial property management company and industry. He refuses to allow stagnation within the company and the way business is handled. His ideas of making the San Diego commercial property management company paperless are implemented with specific instruction and guidance. Ideas are carefully thought through to ensure that the end product to the client is accurate and complete.
What has Robert done to create and maintain a positive work environment and employee satisfaction?
Robert is quick with a heartfelt compliment and appreciation to those that work with him. He provides guidance and instruction which allows others to grow in their field. If mistakes are made by an employee, he carefully works with them to help them learn from the mistake and discover how to avoid the same situation in the future. His constructive criticism is genuine. His practical jokes keep employees at ease and provide a fun work environment. Robert makes sure to get to know those working around him on a personal level.
